My stay at Holiday Inn Express exceeded all my expectations, surpassing even my usual choice of Hampton Inns. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the exceptionally clean room to the thick and fluffy towels. The oversized king room felt spacious and luxurious, with the highlight being the amazing oversized bathtub that provided a perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring. The hotel's heating and air conditioning were top-notch, ensuring a comfortable temperature throughout my stay.I particularly appreciated the tea and coffee facilities in the room, allowing me to enjoy a cozy morning cup before starting my day of adventures. The flat-screen TV provided great entertainment options, perfect for winding down in the evening. The location was ideal, with various dining options within a short walking distance, including Chili's Grill & Bar and Jason's Deli. The exceptional service provided by Lamaya at the front desk and Vanessa's kind gesture of holding my forgotten medication exemplified the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a seamless and enjoyable stay in the heart of Hickory's downtown area.
